Visit us: 2025 Main St W, North Bay, ON P1B 2X6The NNPCN is looking for you 🙂 If you are a well-grounded, self-giving, non-issue and serene personality, are looking for a good cause to volunteer, and you live in Nipissing or East Parry Sound Districts, the NNPCN is looking for you!

Calling you all awesome people from North Bay, Sturgeon Falls, Mattawa, the Almaguin area (Restoule, South River, Port Loring, Magnetawan, Shawanaga, Burks Falls…), Temagami area (Marten River, Owaissa, River Valley), Crystal Falls, Thorne, Ketchen and Eldee, Lavigne, Monetville, Wolseley Bay, Balsam Creek, Redbridge, Deerland, Astorville, Bonfield, Kiosk and your special neck of the woods in our area!

Our volunteers provide hospice, respite and psychosocial support to palliative care clients and their caregivers. We also give grief support sessions to those who lost a loved one. Our services are free of charge.

We serve the vulnerable sector. We need volunteers with solid, structured, mature personalities, who can help create a supportive, collaborative, non-judgmental, safe and relaxed environment around the client.

We provide in-depth training for free, and ongoing support to our volunteers. We pay mileage. We have been serving our community for the last 31 years.

We also have volunteer opportunities at the Office and satelit teams, to help organize events, maintain our website and social media, develop donation campaigns, communicate with the local media and the community, and much more.

Activities not related to the vulnerable sector need volunteers who bring their smile, kindness, loyalty, and collaborative personality to the NNPCN.

Above all, our volunteers are LOYAL when it comes to embrace a great cause! We wear the shirt of NNPCN and we are proud of our team and of what we do.

If you like to encourage people around you with small gestures, and always have a kind word to share with and about your colleagues, you can make a fabulous difference!
