Palliative Care Services

Palliative Care Services

Near North Palliative Care Network (NNPCN) provides non-medical palliative care support to individuals living with life-limiting or terminal illness, as well as to their families and caregivers.

Our goal is to enhance quality of life by offering compassionate, community-based support that focuses on comfort, dignity, and connection. We walk alongside individuals and families at any stage of illness, helping them navigate the emotional, social, and practical challenges that often come with serious health conditions.

We understand that this journey can feel overwhelming. That’s why our trained volunteers provide a caring presence through companionship, emotional support, and respite for caregivers. We also help connect individuals and families with healthcare and community resources, and offer gentle guidance during times of uncertainty or difficult decision-making.

Support is available in private homes, hospitals, long-term care homes, and retirement residences, ensuring that individuals receive care wherever they feel most comfortable.

At NNPCN, we believe palliative care is about living as well as possible. Through compassion, respect, and meaningful connection, we strive to ensure that no one feels alone and that every person feels supported and valued every step of the way.
