The Grand Parade

The Grand Parade is coming to North Bay! Join us on September 17, 2022!

The Grand Parade is a family-friendly fundraiser walk held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 that helps support local charities who provide essential care and service for aging Canadians. The Near North Palliative Care Network has teamed up with The Grand Parade to ensure the aging population in our region receives the supports they need.

The Grand Parade is a moment to take to the streets across Canada to publicly honour aging friends and family, while fundraising for charities who serve them faithfully. The Near North Palliative Care Network has always attempted to serve the seniors in the area to help them age well. The funds raised in the Grand Parade will help the Near North Palliative Care Network to continue and grow the programs offered specifically for older people.

How to Participate

At the designated location (Veterans’ Soccer Field, P1A 2A2 North Bay, ON), there will be a full, in-person walk event with a 5 km route.

The event will feature a walker check-in, send-off ceremonies, signed routes, rest stops, and helpful volunteers along the way.
